Air Ambulance Crews in Nevada and California Unionize with the TWU

Air ambulance crews – who respond by helicopter and small plane to medical emergencies in remote, hard-to-reach areas of northern Nevada and California, including alpine ski trails and desert highways, are now members of the Transport Workers Union. The Flight Nurses and Flight Paramedics at REMSA Health want better wages and benefits, but also a say in how they provide this vital service.

Tucson Summit: TWU Air Division Prepares for the Future

Dozens of Air Division local presidents and officers convened in Tucson, Arizona, on April 14 for a daylong TWU International conference focused on the broad range of expertise and resources available to help them serve their members.

“You never have to fight alone,” Air Division Director Andre Sutton told the gathering.
