Air Ambulance Crews in Nevada and California Unionize with the TWU
Air ambulance crews – who respond by helicopter and small plane to medical emergencies in remote, hard-to-reach areas of northern Nevada and California, including alpine ski trails and desert highways, are now members of the Transport Workers Union. The Flight Nurses and Flight Paramedics at REMSA Health want better wages and benefits, but also a say in how they provide this vital service.
