TWU Gives Back

The TWU honored Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. today through action: packaging and delivering boxes of supplies for the homeless in Miami.

Community service is important,” TWU International Administrative Vice President Curtis Tate said.  “As Dr King said, it’s about service. It’s about giving back. It’s about uplifting each other. And at the TWU, we strongly believe in that.”

TWU Calls out Abuse of Power in NYC

The Transport Workers Union is calling for an investigation into NYC Deputy Mayor Randy Mastro for his role in awarding a no-bid contract to a veterinarian who has ties to anti-horse carriage advocates and a very questionable financial track record. The Department of Investigations and the Conflict-of-Interest Board should start a probe, if they haven’t already, the TWU says.
