One Voice. One Contract.

The Allegiant-Sun Country acquisition is a turning point. Dispatchers from both carriers deserve the strongest possible contract, and that starts with choosing the right union.

What’s Happening:

Allegiant Air is acquiring Sun Country Airlines. When two unionized workgroups merge under the RLA, a representation election determines which union will represent the combined group going forward.

Why it matters:

Sun Country dispatchers are represented by TWU with a strong dispatcher contract. Allegiant dispatchers are represented by Teamsters. Both workgroups will have a say in which union represents them moving forward.
What’s at Stake:
Your contract, your voice, and your working conditions for years to come. This decision will shape pay, work protections, and who sits across the table during the next negotiations on your behalf.
  1. What happens during an acquisition (possibly button for NMB and RLA rules and info) then add info on how representation elections work under the Railway Labor Act (RLA), timeline, etc.)
  2. “See the Contract Comparison” – Contract comparison section, where we can put in a side-by-side table of some sort ( a button where they can click and open a page with the side-by-side comparison)
  3. “The TWU Difference” – TWU’s track record (dispatchers they represent, TWU structure on representation, any notable wins or contract protections that may stand out from other dispatch contracts, TWU intl. and resources that are put into negotiations.)
  4. “FAQ” Section (maybe a button? Or expandable section? What do you think?)
  5. “A Direct Message to Allegiant Dispatchers” – An area where a direct message can be put that is for Allegiant dispatchers who are currently teamsters.
    Include some bullets on what they can gain from TWU (ie, Focus on the TWU structure: having a dispatcher represent them, local autonomy, stronger contracts)
  6. “Reach out to a TWU Rep” (button) – A way for dispatchers to request more info or one-on-one outreach. Make sure they’re aware information they share is confidential.
