As the METRO Board continues to make ridiculous demands from the members of TWU Local 1, we are now asking our members, whose patience has now run out, to start making preparations for a potential work stoppage once the Fact-Finder’s report is made available. Should the report not meet our expectations, we are advising our membership of the following:
-Please visit your medical provider as soon as possible to request refills of up to 90 days for all your family’s prescription needs.
-Do all possible to get your financial obligations in order. Contact your financial institutions to review all available payment-deferral options.
-Reach out to your Union representatives to find out about any volunteer opportunities should a strike occur.
-Call your elected local, state, and federal officials and remind them that you are a constituent and expect their support should there be a work stoppage.
– Attend all Union Meetings. Next meeting is May 12, 2026.
-Please make sure the Union has your up-to-date contact information. You can use the QR Code below regardless of whether you have previously provided this information.
-Avoid any communication on company social media platforms.
-Should any member of management try to talk to you about union-related activity, remind them that the Union speaks for you and to refrain from such conversation.
This includes Supervisors.
