Another TWU-Represented Work Group at American Airlines Secures New Contract
Flight Crew Training Instructors and Simulator Pilots Ratify New Agreement
With nearly 90 percent of the work group participating in the election, American Airlines’ Flight Crew Training Instructors and Simulator Pilots ratified a new contract today; 230 members voted in favor of the agreement. The contract covers members represented by the Transport Workers Union of America, AFL-CIO at the newly-merged American Airlines.
“This contract recognizes the specific skills and training these members bring to the new American Airlines,” said TWU International Vice President Gary Shults, who helped negotiate the deal. “We negotiated hard to bring this work group a contract they could be proud of, and we’re pleased the deal came together.”
