On January 5th, voters in Georgia will have the chance to elect TWO Senators that could potentially deliver a crucial pro-worker, pro-union majority in the U.S. Senate.

Why Joe?
Vice President Joe Biden has repeatedly called for an emergency temporary standard from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) which would require these basic protections for all of our members. He has demanded that frontline workers be the priority for access to PPE and testing. Over his entire career, he has demonstrated the strongest commitment to workers in every transportation sector.

There are many ways you can take action to elect Joe Biden, including texting, driving voters to the polls, making calls to your fellow TWU members to urge them vote for Joe and provide information around absentee ballot requests and polling locations. Use your power, voice, and network to help TWU get out the vote.

- Amplify your message by wearing TWU for Biden swag or TWU swag in your video

This election is important and with only a few weeks left, it’s time to get out and vote for the most pro-labor, pro-TWU candidates.”
Stand with TWU #NOONPROP22
Proposition 22 is a referendum that will be on the November 3rd General Election ballot in California. If it passes, Prop 22 would grant Uber and Lyft exemptions from state laws that require them to provide drivers with fair wages, healthcare, sick leave, and other basic labor protections.
Uber, Lyft, and other gig companies wrote the initiative and they are spending more than $110 MILLION to try to get California voters to support it.
That’s why we are urging all Californians to VOTE NO on Prop 22 and stand in solidarity with drivers, hold these giant gig companies accountable, and help us get the protections we deserve.
