Update for Android users: Google is having issues displaying several apps in the Google Play Store, including the brand new TWU App. This is a system-wide problem, and they’re working on fixing it. We’ll update you as soon as Google resolves the issue with the Play Store and appreciate your patience while they resolve this issue on their end. Unfortunately, it’s out of our control, and we appreciate your patience.
We’re pleased to announce the first version of the TWU mobile app, designed to allow our members to stay up to date with TWU news, information and photos no matter where they are. As promised at the convention, we want to open the lines of communication between TWU International and our locals. We want to keep you informed, and we know that you’re on the go, keeping America moving. Download the app for Apple or Android from your app store.
So you asked, and we heard: you want information. You want to hear from us. You want timely updates on negotiations, news alerts, and member stories, and you want to know what happens, when it happens. You want an open and transparent exchange of ideas, and you want to be kept up to date on the issues facing this union, whether they’re related to contracts, legislation, internal committees, or even photos of members in action.
The goal of this first version of the app is to test those features and functions and see how you like them. We want this to work for you, so we’ll be making tweaks and adjustments along the way, and you may see some changes as our website changes as well. But at the end of the day, you can expect the app to remain a current, one-stop resource for you to keep up with all things TWU.
All we ask is that you spread the word: in the breakroom, on social media, and everywhere in between, please share the app with your brothers and sisters, help them download it, and encourage them to use it. And if you have feedback, please share it with us, or rate it in your phone’s app store.
Our ability to communicate is only as strong as your willingness to participate, share and engage. We hope you’ll join us in this next step toward making TWU a 21st century union.
