Helpdesk Instructions

Kent Network Solutions has an online web-based helpdesk solution that we encourage our users to take full advantage of.  Kent employs a full staff of Engineers to resolve the issues quickly with the correct skill set. The helpdesk will notify the engineering group at Kent.  This is the most efficient way to get your issue resolved. The steps to connect to the Kent Helpdesk are as follows

Open a web browser by clicking the Internet Explorer icon and navigate to http://www.kentnetworksolutions.com/helpdesk/
Kent uses a web-based helpdesk solution so location isn’t an issue. All that is needed is internet

You will be prompted for a username and password once you are at the login screen. In an effort to avoid confusion the login name and password will be the same for all users

Login name:    twu
Password:       transport

The login name and password are all lower case. As they are case-sensitive you must enter them as lowercase each time.

When a request or issue is submitted you will be given a “PROBLEM ID”. The PROBLEM ID is merely a code used to track the progress of your issue. At this point you have the option to review a PROBLEM ID you have already turned in or submit a new problem.

Choose the option to submit a new problem and outline the issues as well as a contact name, phone number and email address in the description field. This is very important as Kent may need to contact you directly in order to resolve the issue in a timely fashion. All PROBLEM IDs will be reviewed by TWU management and key staff.

After providing a detailed description of the problem. You will choose to submit the issue. When the issue is submitted Kent staff will be notified and will be working the issue.

Kent has added the link to the Kent network helpdesk in the internet favorites on most workstations. Kent encourages each user to take advantage of the helpdesk to resolve issues in a quickly timely fashion. Please contact Kent directly with any questions or concerns.
