ARTICLE XXXIII - Amendments

SECTION 1. This Constitution may be amended by either of the following methods:
1. By any regular Convention, or by any Special Convention called specifically for such purpose, by a vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the delegates voting on the Amendment. By a majority of those voting in a referendum of the membership of the International Union. The International Executive Council shall conduct such a referendum on its own motion, or if at least one-third (1/3) of the Local Unions, representing one-third (1/3) of the membership, approve the proposed amendments and request such referendum.
