Health & Safety Department
The health and safety of TWU members has been a union priority since the earliest days. But ongoing research in occupational safety and health issues brings new knowledge of ergonomic problems and other threats to a health work environment. Every division of the union faces challenges regarding safety, whether it be working with dangerous equipment, or risking exposure to the menace of toxic substances and gases. TWU also remains vigilant against attempts to end or waterdown hard-won safety regulations.

Click on one of the subsections and read more safety tips in our Fact Sheets. You can also access the Imminent Danger manual and OSHA General Industry Training Requirements. Also don't miss helpful Health and Safety links.
