Information Technology

TWU Locals depend on information technology (IT) to help them in their day-to-day operations.  For Locals with limited or no full-time IT personnel, technology maintenance can become a stumbling block.  When a Local struggles with technology, it eats up time and resources that could be better used to help run the Local more efficiently.  When something does go wrong, it can be a nightmare for the Local.

There is a growing dilemma over the long term, which the Locals are faced with as reliance on technology grows — staffing, budgets and resources can’t keep pace.  Many of the Locals have to contend with technologies in use by multi-million dollar companies.  The International offers services to help reverse this trend and provides the Locals with the tools, training and support they need to effectively run their operations.

Services provided through the International’s IT Department allow a Local to offload routine yet vital IT infrastructure maintenance functions.  The International’s IT services can provide proactive services that help prevent problems before they happen, and fix them quickly and effectively when they do occur—minimizing the impact on the Locals operations.
