Transport Workers Union Reaches First Agreement for Allegiant Airlines Flight Attendants (Aug. 12, 2016)
Following five years of negotiations, the Transport Workers Union of America, AFL-CIO (TWU), announced today that it has reached an agreement in principle for the flight attendants it represents at Allegiant Airlines. This is the first union contract for this group of workers.
“The flight attendants at Allegiant Airlines have stood up for years to make their voices heard – they couldn’t have done it without their International union, and we are proud to bring them this agreement to vote on,” said TWU International Vice President Thom McDaniel, who helped negotiate the deal.
